Gathering Clouds over the Mountains
This picture was taken the day our recent deep cold snap began to loosen its grip. As clouds started to move in, the atmosphere developed a distinctly softer quality. When the sun sank behind the mountains across the valley, it gave the low clouds a translucent glow and imparted this lovely subtle light on the peaks.
